Cindy Lou brings charm, grace and talent to each and every performance. With a heart as big as Texas and a voice even bigger, she is the essence of southern hospitality, smiling behind her rockin’ guitar, of course! Join us as we welcome back our long-time friend, Cindy Lou Harrington, to add some special musical flair to our morning service.
Cindy Lou Harrington is an award-winning singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist with five independent albums on Atlanta-based GOC Records. Her performances have included opening for Kathy Mattea at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre and sharing the stage with popular country-rock acts such as Sawyer Brown, Neal McCoy, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Off-stage, Cindy Lou was a long-time teacher for disabled students, many of whom have had a major impact on her life and music. She credits her “special kids” with the inspiration for her song, “Let Me Win,” which was performed at the 1996 Paralympic Torch Ceremonies; the song continues to be used statewide for Special Olympics events.
