There’s something joyous about a fountain, something joyous about a puppy at play. But what’s joyous about working your way through a health challenge or a financial downturn? Join Brenda Strickland as she gives us a different persepctive on passing through life’s challenges!
Brenda Strickland is a dynamic and moving speaker. Author of Life, Love and Lilies: Everyday Spirituality, her talks and workshops are based on the simple-yet-profound ideas in her book.
A native of Kansas City, she is a lifelong Unity student. Brenda began piano lessons at age seven at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, where she went on to earn her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education. She taught elementary music classes in public and private schools from Kansas to Hawaii to Georgia. In addition to being an award-winning music educator, she is a pianist and vocal coach.
After 35 years in music education, Brenda began giving talks and leading workshops on practical spirituality. Just as she worked with children to discover and develop their innate musicality, she now works with groups and individuals to discover and deepen their spirituality. As a spiritual consultant, Brenda is dedicated to helping people fulfill their greatest intentions in life. She lives in Atlanta, GA, with her husband, Rev. John A.V. Strickland. They share their home with a long-haired Dachshund named Duke and two cats, Makikilani and Bojangles.
